The Rulers Of This Age.

In the church bulletin, above, it is mentioned that the rulers of this age seek equality in realms in which God has not granted it.  There has been a bipartisan effort to get a woman into the Oval Office.  Why?  Because the rulers of this age have a naive, sandbox view of society, in which they think that both men and women should have an equal opporunity to serve in the Oval Office.  There have been forty-six men to serve in that office over a period of more than 240 years.  On September 11, 2001, a man in the Oval Office was brought to tears in response to that terrorist attack.  Would a woman be able to handle the demands of dealing with a national tragedy, for example?  Giggling is not good enough.  If a woman does attain to the Oval Office, there will still be no equality regarding that event, because there have already been forty-six men before her.  God has said that a woman will attain to such a leadership position only because the men are too sorry to lead ( see Judges, chapters 4 and 5, for example ).  If and when that does happen, it will be a sad milestone in American history; it will represent a massive failure of male leadership.

The amount of viciousness from the feminists leading up to this potential event has been documented in news reports of the past.  God has clearly defined the roles of men and women in society, for in Genesis 2:18, it is written, " 18 Then the LORD God said, ' It is not good that man should be alone; n I will make him a helper fit for2 him. '"  During my lifetime, I have never seen a man express infantile rage over the fact that we, as men, are not able to give birth to children.  Likewise, the women should be able to accept, with humility, the fact that men and women are not equal in every respect.

The rulers of this age continue to lead men astray with thier eutopian, equality everywhere, approach to life.  God never said that there would be equality everywhere and in all things.  In Micah 6:8, it is written, " 8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and f what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness,2 and to g walk humbly with your God? "  The first issue the prophet Micah addressed, in this passage of Scripture, was the LORD's requirement to do justice.  Why does the LORD require us, as Christians, members of the one, universal, New Testament church ( the church of Christ — see Exodus 24:1-8 ( especially verse 8, for example ); Psalm 50:5 ( KJV, for example ); Matthew 1:16; 16:13-20 ( especially verses 16-18, for example ); Mark 16:15, 16; Luke 22:14-23 ( especially verse 20, for example; KJV, for example ); 23:26-49 ( especially verse 33, for example; KJV, for example ); John, chapter 10 ( especially verse 11, for example ); chapter 14 ( especially verse 15, for example ); chapter 15 ( especially verses 12-14, for example ); Acts 2:38, 41, and 47 ( KJV, for example ); chapter 11 ( especially verse 26, for example ); Romans, chapter 6 ( especially verses 3, 4, 10, and 22, for example ); 12:1-8 ( especially verse 5, for example ); and Colossians 1:1-23 ( especially verse 20, for example ); chapter 2 ( especially verse 14, for example ), for example ), to do justice?  Because we live in an unjust world, for in Micah 4:10, it is written, " 10 Can I forget any longer the treasures4 of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is accursed? "  The rulers of this age do not understand this.

The rulers of this age do not understand the secret or hidden wisdom of God.  This has been borne out repeatedly in world events.  Please examine the Scriptures daily, as the Jews of Berea did ( see Acts 17:10, 11, for example ).
