My Weblog: The Gospel Preacher.

In Galatians 2:9, it is written, " 9 And when James, 1Ce´-phas, and John, who seemed to be apillars, perceived bthe grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; cthat we should go unto the 2heathen, and they unto the circumcision. "  God has commanded that we, as Christians ( see Acts, chapter 11 ( especially verse 26, for example ), for example ) give the right hand of fellowship to our brethren, for example ( see also Proverbs 18:24, for example ).  Some people are unwilling to give a handshake simply because they are selfish ( see Philippians 2:3, for example ) and unfriendly.

Jesus ( see Matthew 4:23 ) said in 5:13, " 13 Ye are the salt of the earth: abut if the salt have lost his 1savour, 2wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. "  Jesus said we are good for nothing if we fail to have a Christian influence in this world.  Part of our job, as children of God, is to bring friendliness to a harsh, sinful world ( see Matthew, chapter 11 ( especially verses 25-30, for example ); Acts, chapter 3 ( especially verse 14, for example ); Colossians, chapter 2 ( especially verses 8 and 9, for example ); and Hebrews 4:14, 15, for example ).

In Obadiah, verse 15, it is written, " 15 aFor the day of the LORD is near upon all the 1heathen: bas thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy 2reward shall return upon thine own head. "  What Obadiah the prophet wrote, here, is the same message that Jesus spoke in Matthew 7:12, namely: " 12 Therefore all things awhatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for bthis is the law and the prophets. "  Jesus taught, here, that the entire Bible is based on this one principle.

In Matthew 23:8, it is written, " 8 aBut be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your 1Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. "  The equivalent translation for the word " 1Master, " here, is the phrase " 1Leader or Teacher. "1  In Colossians 1:18, it is written ( please read this entire chapter to get the immediate context ), " 18 And ahe is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, bthe firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. "  Since Jesus is the Head of the one, universal, New Testament church ( the church of Christ — see Romans 16:16 and 1 Corinthians 11:1, for example ), and He is without sin, this means that God says that the source of godly leadership in this world is the church of Christ — not the White House.

The feminist mantra is as follows: " Whatever a man can do, a woman can do better. "  The White House is synonymous with filth and scandal, so how is a woman in the Oval Office going to do any better than a man in this situation?  Currently, there is no woman as president of the United States.

All the women in the world must do some serious soul searching.  They will have to figure out why it is that they feel that they need to continously compete with the men in just about everything.  This observation indicates that the women are dissatisfied and not content with their God-given roles as wives and mothers ( see Genesis, chapters 1-4, for example ).  Yes, God mentions women of high standing ( see Acts, chapter 17 ( especially verse 4, for example ), for example ), but He also commands that Christian men, members of the church of Christ, lead the sacred assembly ( see Acts, chapter 16 ( especially verses 10-15, for example ) and 1 Timothy 2:11, 12, for example ).  Never shall these twain collide.

The Master in heaven says that the White House is not the church of Christ, and the president of the United States is not an evangelist.  I sure hope that the current state of politics in America was not a bipartisan attempt to prove God wrong.  If it was, then someone failed spectacularly.  Jesus ( see John 14:23 ) said in 15:19, " 19 aIf ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but bbecause ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. "  Jesus has chosen the church out of the world.  Give the right handshake of fellowship.  Please seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read ( see Isaiah 34:16, for example ). 🕮
